When I was five years old I was diagnosed with kidney disease . During these last ten years I have been in and out of Texas Children's Hospital. I still go there 3 to 4 times a week for dialysis . Dialysis is very hard on my body. It makes me weak and tired. I had to enroll in virtual school and study from home because of the scheduling conflict with dialysis. I cannot meet with my friends and I had to stop playing soccer. During this time my childhood passed me by. I am now 15 years old and I am in the ninth grade. I'm afraid that if I don't get a kidney transplant soon I might lose my teenage years too. I might also get derailed from my plans to go to Rice University in Houston to study Electrical Engineering,
